Welcome!!!

Thanks for visiting me at massageforthearts.com.  I'm celebrating my first year in business as Massage For The Arts!  Many thanks to those of you who helped me launch my practice in December of last year.  Congratulations!  Together we've raised over 3,000.00 in cash and services  for nonprofit theater in the Bay Area!  In addition, we've raised another 1,000.00 for other nonprofits such as the Marin YMCA, St. Marks School, San Domenico School and Marin Family Services Agency.

Welcome to those who I don't yet know.   I've created a convenient, comfortable space where people can get the best quality massage that is designed specifically to meet their individual needs.   I make my rates affordable so that  folks can make massage a regular part of their lives without breaking the bank.  In fact,  I'm confident that you can't get this quality of massage for less anywhere else in the Bay Area!

I see massage as not just my livelihood but my contribution.  That's where my passion as a theater artist comes in.  10% of my profits go to fund local  nonprofit theater AND I give a 10% discount to artists (of any stripe), teachers and caregivers.  Whether you want to remove stress,  work on specific aches and pains, or both,  I can help.  I'll see you here!

The local theater companies you help fund are near and dear to me.  I have worked with Alternative Theater Ensemble and am  a core member of Porchlight Theater Company; very good people who use very few resources to bring a richness to our community.  I'm proud to be a part of their ongoing mission.

These are the theaters you help fund:

The deep work that I do  is about listening, discovering, and getting out of the way so that the human system can do what it does best which is to find it's balance.

I feel that my job is to have a conversation with the body and point out places where that body is holding tension or where that body is asleep.

A person receiving massage may not know it, but they are doing very important work during the session by letting the communication happen.
